Human Hair Clip-In Extensions
CLASSIC · SEAMLESS · ONE-PIECE · SINGLE CLIP-INS
A complete clip-in range for salons, distributors and private-label brands. Choose the construction and product format first, then confirm the set map, length, total grams, colour and packaging as one repeatable specification.
Choose the product in the same order your customer does.
Start with the natural-hair profile and desired result, then choose construction, coverage and grams. This prevents a buyer from treating every clip-in set as the same product.
01 · NATURAL HAIR
Match the wearer profile
Fine hair usually needs a flatter, lighter root profile; medium and thick hair may need more coverage and grams to blend naturally.
02 · DESIRED RESULT
Choose coverage before piece count
Decide whether the customer needs a full transformation, discreet volume, fast back coverage or targeted side fill.
03 · FINISHED PRODUCT
Lock construction and specification
Approve the product type, set map, grams, length, colour, texture, clip hardware and packaging together as one repeatable product.
VERIFIED SET MAPS
Know exactly what is inside each full set.

Clip-in construction
Classic sewn weft, seamless PU, one-piece or individual fill-in; including edge finish and clip attachment.
03
Set or piece map
7 pcs, 8 pcs, one-piece or single; width and clip count for every individual weft.
04
Weight architecture
Total hair grams, grams by piece, weight tolerance and end-density target.

BUILD YOUR BUYING BRIEF
Select the specification you want us to review.
These controls prepare an enquiry; they do not indicate live stock. Final feasibility, MOQ, price and lead time are confirmed in writing.
PRIMARY COLOUR SYSTEM
DS HAIR Colour Chart 2
Screen colour is for initial selection only. Final shade approval should use a physical colour ring or confirmed sample. Where the source chart has no published shade code, Ref numbers are temporary website identifiers only.
A complete clip-in range for salons, distributors and private-label brands. Choose the construction and product format first, then confirm the set map, length, total grams, colour and packaging as one repeatable specification.
EVALUATION POINTS
What your team should verify.
Use a representative sample to turn visual impressions into an approved, repeatable product reference.
01
Top construction
For classic sets, review stitching, seam bulk and return hair. For seamless sets, check PU thickness, flexibility and edge finish.
02
Hair retention
Review stitching, insertion or bonding according to the selected construction, then test shedding before and after controlled washing and styling.
03
Clip system
Approve clip size, tooth profile, silicone strip if required, coating colour, opening force and attachment security.
04
Set balance
Confirm every weft width, clip count and gram allocation; then test placement, comfort, blending and end density as a complete set.
CONSTRUCTION KNOWLEDGE
Classic and seamless are two different product constructions.
Seamless and classic are construction choices, not automatic quality grades. The correct decision depends on the target wearer, set architecture and approved physical sample.
Decision point
Classic Sewn Clip-In
Seamless PU Clip-In
Top construction
Fabric or stitched weft base
Thin PU or silicone-like seamless base
Profile at the root
More structured seam; bulk depends on weft build
Designed to sit flatter with less visible seam bulk
Key development risk
Stitching quality, seam bulk, return hair and shedding control
PU flexibility, edge finish, hair retention and clip attachment
Colour consideration
Thread, fabric and clip colour must coordinate with the hair shade
Base colour and translucency must coordinate with the hair shade
What a buyer must approve
Physical sewn-weft sample plus full set map and weight distribution
Physical seam sample plus full set map and weight distribution
SET ARCHITECTURE
Four formats—four different buying briefs.
Select the architecture by coverage goal and placement map. Do not use piece count as a shortcut for volume, comfort or quality.

What exact set map must production repeat?

Repeatability against the written set map
Piece count alone is not a full product specification. Construction, widths, clip layout, total weight, grams by piece and colour must be confirmed on the selected sample.
THE DS HAIR DIFFERENCE
A structured sourcing process, not an unsupported quality claim.
We compare the way a project is managed—not make unverified statements about another supplier’s hair.
Practical guidance for salons, distributors and private-label teams. Product-specific claims still require sample approval.
01
What types of human hair clip-ins are available?
The range can be developed as classic sewn-weft sets, seamless PU sets, one-piece volumizers or individual fill-in pieces. Each type serves a different wearer profile and coverage goal.
02
Why is piece count not enough?
Two seven-piece sets can behave very differently when their widths, clip counts, total grams and grams-by-piece are different. A repeatable product requires a written set map, not only 7 pcs/set on the package.
03
How should weight be engineered?
Start with the target wearer and desired result, then set total hair grams and distribute them across the wefts. The same total weight can feel and blend differently depending on where the grams sit in the set.
04
How do classic and seamless clip-ins differ?
Classic clip-ins use a sewn or fabric weft with a more structured top. Seamless clip-ins use a thinner PU-style top designed for a flatter root profile. The correct choice depends on wearer density, target result and sample approval.
05
What controls a reliable reorder?
Keep one approved sample and one written specification covering the set map, grams by piece, PU construction, hair details, colour reference, clip hardware, tolerances, packaging and QC checkpoints.
RELATED DEVELOPMENT DIRECTIONS
Build a coherent extension range.
These are enquiry pathways, not live-stock listings. Each product requires its own specification and sample reference.
No. This product family is identified by its product name and confirmed specification: classic, seamless, one-piece or single clip-in, followed by the set map, length, weight distribution, colour and packaging.
Can I request a 7-piece or 8-piece sample?
Yes. Share the preferred format, length, target total weight, construction and colour direction. Sample feasibility, cost and timing are confirmed against that brief.
Does 7 pcs/set or 8 pcs/set define the full product?
No. The full specification also needs the construction, each piece width, clip layout, total hair weight, grams by piece, length, texture, colour reference and repeat-order tolerances.
Can DS HAIR develop a single clip-in piece?
A single-piece request can be reviewed. State the intended placement, width, clip count, target weight, length and colour so the construction can be evaluated.
Are all lengths and weights shown ready to order?
No. They are buying-request options for preparing a brief. A length and gram value is not confirmed until it is tied to the chosen product type, set map, hair specification and written quotation.
Can I request private-label packaging?
Yes. Label, backing card, storage and retail-pack requirements can be reviewed with the product brief. Feasibility and minimum quantities are confirmed separately.
